Cross-Dressing Rodent

Homo homo sapiens notwithstanding, transvestism is particularly rare in the animal kingdom, especially among the disease-carrying order of Rodentia.

This woodchuck in my backyard often chooses a sunny day to don his pink hat and pearls. He was understandably at first demure when confronted with the rather imposing macro lens of my camera, but I managed to make him comfortable and coax him out of his hole by waving a pair of fishnet stockings.

The stockings belong to my sister.
